Located in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Middle Park, this project involved the careful renovation and extension of an Edwardian-era home. The design thoughtfully balances respect for the original heritage architecture with a contemporary approach to space, light, and flow.
The extension opens up the rear of the house, creating a seamless connection between indoors and garden while improving the functionality of the living areas. Clean lines, natural materials, and a restrained palette complement the ornate details of the original structure without competing with them.
By blending old and new through subtle shifts in scale and materiality, the project delivers a home that feels both timeless and perfectly suited to modern family living.
